MIENTRAS LA ESPERA
Esperaré a que crezca el árbol, refugio santo, que me dé sombra. Y mientras crece, abonaré la tierra para que no se agote, para que crezca fuerte.
Esperaré la divina brisa que me acaricie el alma. Y mientras viene, levantaré el rostro, para sentir su paso, para sentir que viene.
Esperare a que la luna brille y que ilumine pronto mi oscura noche. Y mientras sale, me postraré en el suelo a recibir atento su primer destello.
Esperare a escuchar las risas de mis hijos que presagian su llegada alegre. Y mientras tanto, afinaré el oído por distinguir su sonido de otros ruidos.
Esperaré, esperaré, siempre esperaré. Pero con el rostro levantado, con el cuerpo dispuesto, con el oído atento. Para que la espera no sea solo tiempo que pasa y seca.
Para que la misma espera sea sustento para mi alma, que aguarda, que anhela. Que la espera sea espera pero que, mientras espero al que ya viene, sin duda crea.
