Han quedado atrás la Pascua, con su mensaje de Vida y de Resurrección, o las solemnidades de la Santísima Trinidad y del Corpus Christi. Ahora, inmersos en la liturgia del Tiempo Ordinario, seguimos de cerca a Jesús meditando sus palabras, observando sus signos y –sobre todo– estando atentos a su programa: ¡Dios es amor!¡Dios es perdón!
1.En dos ocasiones, Jesús, fue ungido: por la mujer pecadora (cuyo relato hemos escuchado en este Domingo) y en Betania, poco antes de que Jesús fuera detenido.
El fondo del evangelio de hoy, entre otras cosas, nos anima a cambiar de modo de vida. Es posible, ante la presencia del Señor, mudar de actitudes, superar situaciones anómalas que pueden existir en nuestra conducta. Superar aquellos puntos oscuros que, tal vez, no nos dejan dormir o vivir en paz.
Dios, que es amor y perdón, se nos revela con su comprensión. El mejor perfume, el supremo aroma que podemos derramar sobre Jesús es precisamente ese: el replanteamiento o la renovación de nuestras personas, de nuestros corazones. ¿Qué puede más en nosotros? ¿El pecado o la gracia? ¿La mediocridad o el deseo de perfección? ¿El arrepentimiento o los torreones de la arrogancia?
Tal vez, como cristianos, tendríamos que ser más afectuosos y cercanos con los que nos rodean. Empujados por un ambiente racional e individualista se nos invita a la distancia y a las dudas, a la desconfianza y al ¡sálvese quien pueda! Pero, cuando alguien nos sonríe o nos echa una mano, enseguida sale la parte más positiva de nosotros mismos. A la mujer pecadora le ocurrió lo mismo: mucho se le perdonó y mucho amó. O dicho de otra manera; fue tan grande su expresión de cariño y de adhesión a Jesús que, el Señor, le ofreció aquello que más necesitaba esa mujer: su perdón, su reconocimiento, la recuperación total de su dignidad.
2.No podemos consentir que nuestra religión (relación con Dios) sea fría o caiga en posturas distantes. Nuestra relación con Dios no es la de aquel funcionario situado detrás de una ventanilla que, sin mirar a los ojos del cliente, atiende por obligación y sin delicadeza.
Tenemos que recuperar en nuestra vida cristiana algunos elementos típicos y sustanciales de los principios cristianos: la comprensión y el perdón, la alegría y la solidaridad, la sinceridad y la corrección fraterna. Ir en la dirección contraria no es bueno para nuestra Iglesia. Obviar el perdón y la elegancia con los demás no es la mejor fotografía de un buen cristiano. Podemos cambiar de vida, de modales y hasta de actitudes. Todo será posible si, en el centro de lo que somos y vivimos, colocamos al Señor. El nos hará sentir su fuerza y su valor. Su perdón y su gracia. Su mano y su Espíritu.
Vivir con Jesús es comprender como el comprende; amar como El ama; juzgar como El juzga; salir al encuentro de las personas como El lo hace: anteponiendo siempre el bien de las personas.
No es cuestión, por supuesto, de jactarnos de nuestros errores. Mucho menos de estar orgullosos por nuestras fragilidades. Es cuestión de ubicar al Señor de la Luz en la oscuridad de nuestra noche y, en esa noche, dejar que Cristo ilumine nuestro futuro.
