Es hermosa la mirada de la persona que te ama. A veces te mira, y nada más; otras veces espera que la mires. Esa mirada habla de fidelidad, de donación, de comunión.
Y Dios, ¿cómo te mira Dios? ¿Puede mirar Dios? ¿Cómo son los ojos de Dios, la mirada de Dios? Dios te mira con amor, con ternura, te mira tal cual eres, no le importa tu pobreza, tus miserias, tus errores... él te conoce mejor que tú mismo.
No busca de ti sólo que seas bueno, que cumplas con sus mandatos, Él quiere algo más. Su mirada implica un ponerse en marcha, nadie que haya sido mirado por Jesús puede quedar igual. Haz memoria de todas las personas que se han cruzado con la mirada de Jesús: ZAQUEO, la mujer adúltera, la hemorroisa... La mirada de Jesús hace que el corazón quede sanado y, profundamente enamorado, de aquel que puede colmar la vida.
La mirada de quien es contemplado por Jesús, se vuelve pura y limpia.
Déjate mirar por aquel que se ha fijado en ti, por aquel que se ha enamorado de ti, no apartes de Él la mirada. Sólo mirándolo a él, podrás experimentar su perdón, su ternura, su predilección por ti. Sólo mirándolo a Él, podrás entrar sin miedo dentro de ti mismo, contemplarte tal como eres, amor, ternura, perdón. Porque sólo mirándolo a Él, podrás reconocerte en sus ojos. Que tu vida refleje esta mirada de Jesús en ti, mirada que te hace ser para quienes te rodean, ternura, amor, perdón... No tengas miedo de dejarte mirar.
