HOMILÍA
Después de habernos reunido para celebrar comunitariamente, en estas semanas pasadas, la solemnidad de la Ascensión de Jesús a los cielos y, la no menos importante, de Pentecostés que nos recordaba la venida del Espíritu Santo sobre los apóstoles reunidos con María, hoy la Iglesia nos invita a vivir con intensidad otra solemnidad: la de la Santísima Trinidad. Un día en el que hacemos memoria de ese Dios que, tal como aprendimos en el catecismo, es Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo.
A lo largo del año vamos celebrando fiestas que tienen que ver con el Padre de los cielos al que rezamos con las palabras que el mismo Jesús nos enseñó. A él le decimos: “Padre Nuestro”. No “Padre mío” o “Padre tuyo” sino “Padre Nuestro”. Rezamos esta oración personalmente, en la intimidad de nuestra relación con él; pero no hay Misa en la que el sacerdote no nos invite a rezarla conjuntamente porque ese “Padre Nuestro” nos está invitando a considerarnos hermanos y a tratarnos como tales. Seremos más hermanos si nos sentimos hijos de tal Padre.
En las distintas celebraciones que tenemos a lo largo del año, Jesús ocupa un lugar primordial. La Palabra de Dios que escuchamos nos trae a la memoria su nacimiento, sus enseñanzas y milagros, su Pasión, muerte y resurrección. Sin olvidar aquel mandato que nos dejó antes de sus Ascensión. “Id y haced discípulos de todos los pueblos bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre y de Hijo y del Espíritu Santo”.
Junto al Padre y al Hijo, la figura del Espíritu Santo nos acompaña todos los días y de una forma especial el día de Pentecostés, en la celebración del sacramento de la confirmación y en la recepción de los otros sacramentos. El misterio de la Santísima Trinidad no entra dentro de nuestra comprensión humana como ya sabemos, pero forma parte esencial de nuestra vivencia religiosa. Oremos a las 3 divinas personas.
