DOMINGO 2º DE ADVIENTO
Hombres y mujeres curtidos en el desierto de nuestro tiempo, para que proclamen que “todos verán la salvación de Dios”. Que proclamen en el hoy de la crisis, en el hoy de la guerra, en el hoy del olvido y la negación de lo trascendente, que Dios es nuestro Dios y que es un Dios que salva.
Se buscan juanes que hayan sembrado con lágrimas y que cosechen y esperen cosechar con alegría. Juanes que hayan visto cómo el que tiene sus ojos puestos en Dios, aun en medio del desierto, no equivoca el camino ni se deja engañar por espejismos. Juanes que se saben juanes y no redentores ni salvadores. Juanes que portan el mensaje de Dios y en él encuentran su seguridad. Juanes que muestran la herida del pecado y el dolor y la muerte, y que aplican la medicina. Juanes que, anunciando, preparan el camino del Señor, porque el anuncio es superior a la denuncia, como la alegría es superior a la pena.
Se buscan juanes que se conmueven ya en el seno de su madre al sentir la presencia del Hijo de Dios encarnado. Juanes que no olvidan el mundo ni la vida humana, pero que son conscientes de la misión espiritual que les ha encomendado aquel que les ha dado el ser y la encomienda. Juanes que son capaces de soñar, de reír y de cantar. Juanes que, predicando “un bautismo de conversión para el perdón de los pecados”, saben que nada de eso serviría si no fuera porque Dios nos ha amado y nos ha librado, porque nos bautiza “con Espíritu Santo y fuego”.
Se buscan juanes. Y se busca misericordia, porque la necesitamos y la humanidad la necesita. María, puerta de la misericordia. Ora pro nobis.
