HOMILÍA
En pleno mes de junio, mes del Corazón de Jesús, celebramos hoy la Solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad. ¡Cuántas Romerías, cuántas visitas a las ermitas de nuestros pueblos, cuántos encuentros con familiares, vecinos, amigos se celebraban otros años en torno a este día! Las especiales circunstancias por las que pasamos hacen que, esta fiesta, la tengamos que celebrar de otra manera. Celebrar la solemnidad de la Santísima Trinidad es celebrar que Dios es Trinidad de personas: Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. Muchas veces invocamos este misterio: al comenzar y al terminar nuestras misas y reuniones litúrgicas, cuando celebramos los sacramentos, cuando recibimos la bendición del sacerdote. Cada cristiano vive inmerso en este misterio que nos envuelve. En este domingo recordamos quién es nuestro Dios.
La primera lectura la hemos tomado del libro del Éxodo. Moisés sube a la mañana para encontrarse con el Señor, para rezar, para invocarle, para interceder por su pueblo. ¡Qué hermoso es poder dedicar un tiempo de cada día para ponernos cara a cara ante el Señor, para hablarle como un amigo lo hace con su amigo, como un hijo lo hace con su padre! En este día, sabemos, celebramos el Día “Pro Orántibus”. Es decir, recordamos a tantas personas que, en los monasterios de clausura, hacen como Moisés: rezar por todos nosotros, interceder por aquellos que llevamos un tipo de vida más activa. Hoy, nosotros, en justa correspondencia, rezamos por ellos. Rezamos por los que, habitualmente, lo vienen haciendo por nosotros.
La segunda lectura, de la carta de San Pablo a los cristianos de Corinto, nos ha recordado una frase que repetimos cada vez que comenzamos una reunión litúrgica: “La gracia de Jesucristo, el amor del Padre y la comunión de Espíritu Santo estén siempre con todos vosotros.” Tratemos de vivir intensamente, de ser muy conscientes de esta realidad. Recemos a cada una de las tres divinas personas o a todas ellas en su conjunto.
El relato del evangelio de Juan nos ha recordado unas palabras que Jesús dirigió a Nicodemo: “El Padre Dios envió a su Hijo para que el mundo se salve por él”. El domingo pasado recordábamos la fiesta de Pentecostés, la fiesta de la venida del Espíritu Santo que lleva a cabo en nosotros esa obra de salvación. Vivamos con gozo este día.
