MI CRUZ “Como dos palos de olivo unidos por una cuerda”
Jesús hace 2 años me hizo un regalo. Quizá no fuera un regalo convencional, quizá no llevara papel brillante y enormes lazos, pero fue un regalo en mi vida.
Me llamo Piedad y hace 2 años me diagnosticaron un tumor cerebral. Esas dos palabras breves e indolentes se mostraban desafiantes ante mis ojos, pero Dios inundó en mi alma el don de la Fortaleza.
Jesús, ese amigo de alma bondadosa y manos abiertas, ofrecía ante mí dos caminos y los dos tenían luz. Uno tenía la luz de la vida, de crecer y ver crecer, de respirar y amar. El otro era ver la luz de Dios.
Jesús había preparado en mi camino una cruz que quizá pudiera parecer dolorosa y pesada, pero cada persona con la que estuve, a la que pude ayudar, a la que quise o por la que recé antes de mi enfermedad, había tomado un trocito de mi cruz aligerando mis pasos y sintiéndome más unida a mis hermanos.
Mi cruz no hace que olvide que se sufre, que hay momentos de oscuridad y tristeza, mi cruz no oculta mis miedos o mi dolor… mi cruz, ese regalo único e infinito me ha enseñando que nunca voy sola en su carga; mi familia, mis amigos, mis nenas de confirmación, las personas con las que comparto todos mis días, sostienen trocitos de mi cruz y me recuerdan que Jesús no me dio una cruz para dejarme sola con ella, Jesús me regaló mi CRUZ para hacerme saber que Él va siempre conmigo.
Nuestras cruces, nuestros dolores o sufrimientos deben ser la muestra de nuestra fe a Dios. Él debe ser nuestra guía. Él se muestra en cada uno de nuestros hermanos y nos hace saber que nuestra cruz no es sino la señal de que Él y Tú vais siempre unidos de la mano.
