Catedral de Jaca, 15 de agosto de 2012, 12:00 del mediodía, momento en que iba a recibir los ministerios de acólito y lector. No estaba nervioso; a decir verdad más bien tenía una sensación de alegría ya que era algo que estaba aguardando. Pero déjenme contarles el trayecto que me ha hecho llegar hasta aquí.
Me llamo Lizito Fernandes, soy natural de Cabo Verde y hace 8 años que vivo en España.
Cuando tenía 14 años y estudiaba 9º año (correspondiente a 3º de la ESO), me enteré por medio de mi primo que es sacerdote, de un grupo de chicos que con su ayuda se habían reunido en un piso para dedicarse a la vida comunitaria, a la oración y a la ayuda de los más necesitados, viviendo bajo los consejos evangélicos. Al ver mi primo que me estaba interesando un poco por el asunto a causa de los interrogantes que le iba plantando, me hizo una pregunta: ¿por qué no vienes a comprobar con tus propios ojos cómo viven?
Fui primero por razones ajenas al tema. Era mi oportunidad para “escaparme” de casa y reivindicar “mi autonomía”. Tenía claro que allí había más gente, cine, podría hacer más amigos y la ciudad era más grande, más bonita que la mía y el instituto gozaba de buena fama. Pero al acercarme al local donde vivían me impresionó cómo se relacionaban, el clima de la oración, los cantos, la hermandad que reinaba y cómo todos se ponían a disposición de los demás. Con ellos aprendí a rezar el diurnal, a cocinar mejor y a hacer más responsablemente las tareas de limpieza y otras cosas más.
Al terminar el 12º año (2º de bachillerato) a tres miembros de la comunidad y a mí nos propusieron hacer una etapa de formación en el Monasterio de Poblet. Fue entonces cuando vine a España. Terminada la etapa de formación en el Monasterio vine a Zaragoza para hacer en el CRETA (Centro Regional de Estudios Teológicos de Aragón) la formación teológica.
El día 10 de Enero del año 2010 ingresé en el Seminario Metropolitano de Zaragoza, donde estuve hasta el presente año realizando los estudios hasta que me pasé a las Diócesis de Jaca.
No fue algo fácil como casi todo en este mundo; Hubo momentos de duda, de decepciones, de pequeños enfrentamientos, de desilusiones… pero que siempre acababan con una palabra amigable de ánimo y fortaleza por parte de las personas que me rodean.
Pido a Dios constantemente en la oración que me ayude en esta etapa de discernimiento y formación con la ayuda de los formadores, que me haga un instrumento suyo porque, si de una cosa estoy seguro, es de que Él siempre ha estado conmigo y es Él quien me tiene aquí. Que se sirva de mí por medio de su Iglesia y me haga vivir en su gracia para responder con prontitud y fidelidad a su llamada.
