« "Malos tiempos, tiempos fatigosos", así dicen los hombres. Vivamos bien, y serán buenos tiempos. Los tiempos somos nosotros, cuales seamos nosotros así serán los tiempos.»
Con esta cita de San Agustín CÁRITAS INTERPARROQUIAL DE SABIÑANIGO quiere comenzar esta memoria del año 2012, para trasladar a la comunidad el quehacer y las vivencias de los voluntarios durante este año.
En este año en el que se ha constatado un empeoramiento de la situación económica de buen número de familias residentes en nuestro pueblo, CÁRITAS ha significado para muchos UNA PUERTA ABIERTA todo el año, un lugar donde los voluntarios ponen el corazón y su conocimiento en la acogida y acompañamiento de las personas - de cualesquiera ideas o creencias, nativas o inmigrantes - que solicitan algún tipo de ayuda.
CÁRITAS no tiene solución a todas las necesidades, pero si que podemos hacer algo. Con la confianza que la Iglesia católica deposita en nosotros para coordinar la acción sociocaritativa, aliviamos a vecinos nuestros en situación económica y laboral precaria que sufren mayormente las consecuencias de la situación actual del país.
